These are AntiWave Flotation Pad replacements for the Club Goal and Flip Float Sr. water polo goals. AntiWave’s flotation pads are designed to replace those of the Floating Club, Flip Float, and Splash Ball Water Polo Goals. Set includes two (2) pieces – one left and one right. The shape of the foam is longer and reaches into the area where the previous second piece foam existed.
The pads used to be a 4 piece replacement set (larger rear pieces and smaller front pieces). These were discontinued in 2017. The new pads are two pieces with one piece foam for each side.
The weight in the rear counterbalances the weight of the front frame; and the water filled rear cavity acts like a shock absorber to maintain goal bouncing on the water turbulence, and to minimize the dancing effect to the goal from direct shots to the frame. The Goal floats stable and well on the water.
