This is a 1 pound bag of Salt Support Cell Cleaner that is specifically formulated for Salt Cells. This granular formula is a dry product that dissolves the minerals that naturally build on your Salt Cell Generator. It quickly loosens and removes oils, combined organic matters, and calcium deposits.
Active Ingredient of the Salt Support Cell Cleaner: Sulfamic Acid.
Directions for Using Salt Support Cell Cleaner: Use eye and hand protection during the use of this product. Using a clean plastic bucket or pail, add 1 pound of this product to 3 gallons of fresh water. Do not mix product in steel, metal, aluminum, or similar containers. Mix the solution thoroughly with a wooden or plastic spoon. Not all of the product will dissolve in the pail. With the cell disconnected from its control box, submerge the plates in solution. Avoid submerging the disconnected power cord in the product solution. Allow cleaners to penetrate material in the cell plates for 15 to 30 minutes. Hardened materials on the cells may need some physical removal from the plates in the cell.
The Salt Cell Cleaner can safely be disposed of down drains or sewers. It can also be added back to pool where filter will absorb it. Regular use of this product will help prevent the generator unit from malfunctioning and extend the life of the unit.
