This is the Waterco Six-Position Multiport Valve with 2 inch valve, quick connections and sweep elbow. This valve is constructed of heavy-duty ABS and GFPP and has high-grade stainless steel components. The Waterco multiport valve is designed specifically for high performance and working pressures. It is designed to fit Waterco Micron Side Mount SM600, SM750, and SM900 filament wound sand filters and Sinking Bead Filters, as well as Waterco HRV18, HRV24, HRV30, and HRV36 Side Mount Sand Filters.
Waterco’s entire range of multiport valves are engineered to withstand a working pressure of up to 58 psi with a test pressure of 87 psi. Cleansing a filter simply requires shifting the multiport lever from the “filter” position to the “backwash” position, which reverses the flow of water in the filter, flushing the filter bed.
