The 20 foot diameter Funbrella Palm with installation tool is constructed of a high-density polyethylene base material. It is a giant, non-retractable umbrella with an easy-care woven acrylic fabric in several fun, fade-resistant colors, treated in Teflon. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends Woven Acrylic Fabrics as an aid in the prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin.
The Palm frame has a 4.75 inch diameter aluminum center pole compatible with the standard Funbrella ground sleeve. All the Funbrellas are manufactured with stainless steel hardware. The Palm has a high wind rating and can withstand 3-second wind gust velocities of up to 85 mph when it is open.
