This is a Legend Valve Union, 3/4 Inch Slip. It is constructed of Schedule 80 PVC.
PVC Schedule 80 fittings are for higher pressure applications and have a thicker wall than Schedule 40 pipe. Schedule 80 fittings are mostly used in commercial pools and in higher temperature areas such as around pool heaters.
Our Legend Valve PVC Schedule 80 unions are manufactured with high quality PVC resin. They can be used on Schedule 40 or 80 pipe. Solvent ends which are recommended for commercial swimming pools.
