The Duraflex Short Stand without rails is similar to the one and three-meter stands with the same fulcrum unit and anchoring units (anchors sold separately), but no legs. They are designed to provide a firm foundation for mounting Duraflex aluminum springboards. The short stands are designed to mount on your concrete pedestal or platform. The short stand consists of the short stand anchor and a fulcrum assembly. The major components are heavy-duty aluminum castings coated with top-quality epoxy powder coating. Hard-anodized forged aluminum hinges that are mounted to the short stand anchor provide the attachment points for the Duraflex springboards.
The roller and tracks are heat-treated, hard-anodized extruded aluminum. The bearings for the roller tube and slide are Teflon/polymer with a grease path. The diving board anchor hinges are heat-treated aluminum forgings with a design tensile strength of 35,000 psi and are hard anodized. The diving board anchor bolts are custom short-neck 5/8 inch diameter by 3-1/2 inches long stainless steel carriage bolts, specially designed to work on the Duraflex diving boards.
The stand is designed for mounting with the use of six Bronze Deck Anchors (DF-900-SS-6 new construction) or mounting with six Hilti stainless steel threaded inserts (DF-906-1M/3M-WD for existing concrete). Anchors are sold separately.
Duraflex diving stands are designed using the latest technologies and materials to ensure that no matter their ultimate environment, divers can have the ultimate confidence in their equipment, leaving them to focus on achieving their very best dives, consistently, time after time. Duraflex aluminum springboards have been used exclusively in all Olympic diving events since 1960. Duraflex springboards and diving stands are used in all major international, national, NCAA, and high school diving events.
