The Chemtrol PC5100 dual programmable controller features automatic control of water chemistry (ORP, pH), dual PPM control (Active/Total) for UV (Chloramine treatment), water balance with Langier Index, TDS, heater temperature, and water level. The PC5100 features two unique solid-state PPM Sensors that generate easy-to-use, direct, and reliable readings of Free and Active Chlorine concentration in water. Unlike conventional amperometric sensors, the solid-state PPM sensor is simple to install and highly reliable. It includes a special flow cell and is not affected by oxidizers and/or cyanuric stabilizers. With the PC5100, the combination of the PPM and ORP sensors gives the operator the capability to control either chlorine residual or oxidizing activity. With the dual solid-state sensors, it allows control of UV and Chloramine treatment. This unit includes the controller, respective probes (pH, ORP probe, and solid-state sensors (PPM)), safety flow switch, Sanitizer PPM display and remote alarm, FCA flow cell assembly, PPM cell, and miscellaneous plumbing supplies.
The Chemtrol PC5100 dual controller operates like a computer with full-screen displays and direct access to all menus and submenus. The user-friendly Main Screen display enables the operator to supervise all the process functions at a glance and to quickly respond to any changing condition. The front panel keypad is used to move up and down each menu and enter or exit the submenus. All operating functions can be easily modified from the keypad, including sensor calibration, control set-points, alarm levels and the programs for super-chlorination, sequential backwashing, chemical saving and energy saving. It also features the Chemtrol proprietary Probe Alert Safeguard that constantly monitors the response of the ORP and pH probes and alerts the operator of probe failure. Other features include programmable shock treatment and chemical savings cycles, heater control with energy saver program and Langelier Saturation Index for water balance.
With the CHEMCOM communications package (sold separately), any number of facilities can be monitored either by remote computer or by telephone. This allows real-time supervision by management and remote troubleshooting by CHEMTROL technical support. The Communications Package is item #PCx-ETHCOM.
Chemtrol controllers have a Five-Year Warranty on the electronics module and 1-Year on all other parts.
