The Hand Rail Stabilizing Plug, made of aluminum for 1.90 inch O.D., rounds the railing out and provides a permanent supporting surface for the anchor to tighten against. Anchor type hand rails are often crushed at the end by the underground anchor causing the hand rail to loosen and become unstable. When hammered into the crushed end of the hand rail, the Hand Rail Stabilizing Plug rounds it out and provides a permanent supporting surface for the anchor to tighten against.
