This is the Griff 5 foot All Terrain Guard Station that was developed using Tom Griffith’s Five Minute Scanning Strategy for lifeguards. The elevated platform offers lifeguards increased visibility and the dual access steps allow for a shift change without interrupting water coverage. The All Terrain Guard Stations were developed for adaptability to any terrain, indoor or outdoor, by the pool, at the waterpark or on the beach. This guard station is designed to tip and roll with ease to the next location.
The All Terrain Guard Stations feature a swivel cushioned seat that folds down when not in use. The decking is recessed into a stainless steel support. The overall platform area measures 40-3/8 inches x 26-3/4 inches and is located 3.5 feet above the pool deck. An umbrella ring guide is attached to the superstructure and umbrella/life ring holder is attached to the fiberglass decking.
The All Terrain stations have large pneumatic wheels which are made to travel on most terrains. The wheels can be locked or are easily removable within seconds to help to prevent vandalism. You can move the station either from the front or rear. They are truly the most versatile guard chairs ever.
