This is an S.R. Smith 4.5 foot Recall Stanchion Post or False Start Post made of 304 stainless steel with a .065 wall thickness. Designed to be used to suspend a false start rope over competiton pools, the S.R. Smith recall stanchions have a stainless eye attached to the top to affix a rope.
These stanchions have an outside diameter of 1.90 O.D. The recommended anchor is item #AS-100D (not included). When anchored properly, the recall stanchion stands 4 feet 0 inches. The optional, adjustable stainless steel collar band can be used to allow for adjustable line heights. The collar (sold separately) is item #35-102.
