This is an 8 foot Backstroke Stanchion Post constructed of 304 stainless steel with a thick wall of .145 inches. Designed to hold backstroke flags across the pool, the S.R. Smith stanchions have a stainless eye bolt welded to an end cap which is welded to the body. The recommended anchor is item #AS-100D (not included). When anchored properly, the stanchion stands 7 feet 6 inches.
Backstroke stanchions are available in a variety of lengths with several eyebolt configuration options for use in competition. The optional, adjustable stainless steel collar band with eyebolt and control knob can be used to allow for adjustable line heights. Sold separately, the collar is item #35-102.
