This is an AquaTrol Aboveground Pool Salt Chlorinator for return jet fittings with a Twist Lock 15 foot cord and outlet. This model mounts the cell directly on the return jet on the outside of the pool. Hayward Goldline AquaTrol Salt Chlorine Generators are designed specifically for aboveground pools up to 18,000 gallons. AquaTrol generates electronic chlorine automatically from common table salt.
The AquaTrol water-tight control panel is constructed of galvanized steel with a white enamel finish. It features automatic or manual pump timer, main switch for auto or super chlorinate, and desired salt level. The control panel also features seven diagnostic LED indicators for power, generating, no flow, test salt level, and more. A microprocessor automates all functions.
The Salt Turbo Cell has a maximum pressure rating of 200 PSI. It is 15.75 inches in length. It is constructed of ABS and is UV inhibited. The electrodes are Titanium and ruthenium-coated. The cell includes two unions (2 inch tailpieces).
Since many aboveground pools already have a single electrical outlet for the filter pump, the AquaTrol is designed with an outlet for the filter pump to plug into. The AquaTrol then plugs into the original outlet the filter pump was using. The AquaTrol has an integral time clock for control of the pool filtration pump.
