This is a 2 pound canister of Chlorine Remover which contains Sodium Thiosulfate and removes excess chlorine and bromine from your pool water. This Sodium Thiosulfate product is in granular crystaline form. This product will remove excess chlorine, bromine and halogen sanitizer from the pool water.
Active Ingredient of Chlor Out: 90-100% Sodium Thiosulfate.
Directions for Adding Chlor Out to Your Swimming Pool:
If super-chlorinating shock has recently been applied to the pool, allow 12 hours before applying this product. First, measure the available chlorine in the water before adding Chlor-Out. Calculate the ppm of available chlorine or bromine to be removed from the water. With the pump on, add 2.5 ounces of this product for every 10,000 gallons to reduce 1 ppm of chlorine or bromine. Add by broadcasting it over the surface of the pool water. Do not add treatment through your skimmer.
Never mix different products together in the same bottle or pail. After use of this product, pool use may resume once chlorine levels are reduced to 3 ppm or less.
