This Waterway Crystal Water D.E. Filter is 60 square feet with 2-1/2 connections to maximize flow. Max residential flow for this model is 150 GPM. The 2-1/2 inch internals may be reduced for 2 or 1-1/2 inch piping. The Crystal Water Cartridge filters are the only filters on the market with 2-1/2 inch internal piping which improves flow and reduces system noise when using 2-1/2, 2 or 1-1/2 inch plumbing.
The Crystal Water Filters have a body constructed of fiberglass reinforced polypropylene for extra strength and state-of-the-art internal design provides greater and more efficient filtration. These filters feature 2-1/2 inch piping, multi-handle design, and a heavy-duty tamper-proof clamp. This D.E. filter can also be easily converted to a cartridge filter by simply changing out the internals. The Crystal Water D.E. Filters are NSF Listed.
