This is the Duraflex all new short stand for the 16 foot Maxi-B diving boards. The Duraflex new short stands provide a firm foundation for mounting your Duraflex springboards. This stand is for the Maxi-B boards. The new short stand consists of a short stand anchor and a fulcrum assembly. Major components of the stand are heavy-duty aluminum and hard anodized castings. The stand undergoes an enhanced coating process to reduce corrosion.
The new short stands feature a new alignment beam that runs between the fulcrum and read end. This ensures the rear end and the fulcrum are correctly spaced and aligned. This provides a much more consistent feel to the board, giving divers even more confidence as they take off. In conjunction with the alignment beam, the shape of the mounting locations has been designed to allow for more flexibility when mounting holes in the deck are misaligned (compensating for less than ideal decks). Another great feature is the new mechanisms in the fulcrum. There no longer is any “slip-stick ” or “breaking the footwheel free” when adjusting the fulcrum. This allows divers of all ages to adjust the fulcrum to their desired position.
Due to the innovative design and sustainable manufacturing process, the new shorts stands are virtually maintenance free. The fulcrum mechanism no longer requires adding grease or cleaning to ensure optimal use and there are no longer any anti-rattle clamps (roller clamps) to adjust. The only routine maintenance is to add oil to the hinges.
