This heavy-duty solid pool winter cover is designed to fit a rectangular pool with an overall size of 24 x 44 feet. These covers are designed to be larger than the pool itself to allow for sagging and overlap needed to install water bags. The overall cover size is 29 x 49 feet.
GLI Solid Winter Covers are made from tough polyethylene fabric which is one of the most durable cover materials available. These covers have a double-folded and double-stitched edge with water, chemical and sun-resistant thread. The inground rectangular covers have a 5 foot overhang. They are manufactured with a grommet in each corner and a grommet every 4 feet. The inground covers are secured with water pillows (sold separately) which are placed through the vinyl straps along the perimeter of the cover.
The Estate Plus Xtreme Cover has a mesh core and is carbon loaded with a genuine 14 x 14 scrim count and 1.6 oz. weave to create the strongest cover in the industry! The poly coatings (2.0 mil) protect the woven core from abrasion and extreme elements. High quality laminated and UV stabilized coatings protect it from intense sunny days in the fall and spring, and subfreezing temps in the winter.
In addition, the Xtreme seams are roll heat-sealed under high pressure. With a 1-1/2 inch weld overlap, they will not give way under the heavy load of wet leaves and heavy winter snow. The Xtreme Cover is designed to withstand the brutality of winter without damage. Reinforced binding adds additional strength and durability to help withstand the effects of wind and winter snow loads.
