The Freeze Protection Timer with Thermostat, 240 Volts, 3 HP, is designed to protect pool and spa equipment against freeze damage. The Timer, if wired according to instructions, turns ON/OFF the Filter Pump on a daily schedule and also turns ON the Filter Pump when the air temperature (where this timer is located) drops below the temperature set by the thermostat dial (between 33 Degree F and 42 Degrees F). The Freeze Protection Timer with Thermostat is designed to automatically control as well as protect the Pool equipment and plumbing against freeze damage.
Other features of the Freeze Protection Timer include an integrated adjustable thermostat and heavy-duty metallic rainproof enclosure.
Applications: Filter Pumps, Filter Pump Booster Pump, Fountains, Combinations, Pool-Spa Combinations.
Regardless, this control is not intended to be a substitute for insulation, coverings or maintenance. It is self-contained in an indoor-outdoor, beige rainproof enclosure and designed to operate on 240 Volt, 60 cycle only.
