The Orange Gizzmo Aboveground Pool Compensator is a winter skimmer plug designed to absorb the expansion of winter freeze-up in your aboveground pool’s skimmer. For 1-1/2 inch only, the Compensator is a universal plug that closes off the skimmer’s drain hole while the adjustable contraction bottle absorbs ice expansion. It has a tapered end which is threaded and screws into place.
