The Guardian G1540 Gravity-Flow Eyewash Unit is self-contained, portable and has a 16 gallon tank. The eyewash flow is gravity activated. The tank has a heavy-wall construction and is reinforced ribs to support the weight of unit. It is constructed of a green high-density polyethylene with a built-in handle. This portable eyewash unit can be installed in a wide variety of locations. It can be counter or wall mounted with no additional plumbing required. The G1540 is perfect for areas where potable water is not available; i.e., remote plant areas, low-hazard areas, etc.
The unit uses gravity to deliver water through dual spray heads. It delivers over 14 gallons of water for 15 minutes which complies with ANSI Z3581.1-2004. To operate, fill unit with clean potable water and add bacteriostatic additive (which is included). The water flow is activated by pulling down on the bright yellow eyewash tray.
