This is the Waterco Six-Position Multiport Valve with 3 inch valve and 3 inch connections. This valve is used on the Waterco Side Mount Sand Filters with 3 inch ports.
The Multiport Valve is constructed of heavy-duty ABS and GFPP and has high-grade stainless steel components. The Waterco multiport valve is designed specifically for high performance and working pressures.
Waterco’s entire range of multiport valves are engineered to withstand a working pressure of up to 58 psi with a test pressure of 87 psi. Cleansing a filter simply requires shifting the multiport lever from the “filter” position to the “backwash” position, which reverses the flow of water in the filter, flushing the filter bed.
