This DEL Mixing Degas Vessel (MDV), when used with the AOP-S, prevents virtually all ozone bubbles from returning to the pool. This will eliminate bubble noise and visibility. It also allows application of higher ozone concentrations.
When the flow enters the MDV, the ozone bubbles are allowed to float up and accumulate at the top as the water exits out the bottom. The separated ozone passes through a float valve and is sent through a carbon destruct and the neutralized to safety vent to the atmosphere.
An MDV should be used in all indoor, covered, and vinyl lined pools where there is an AOP-S installed. It can also be used in outdoor applications to eliminate bubbles in your return flow.
