The MultiCyclone 16 Ultra C75 Cartridge Filter has a filtration area of 75 square feet and 2 inch quick connect unions. The MultiCyclone 16 Ultra combines the centrifugal and cartridge filtration systems into one streamline housing which creates a compact filtration system that can be vertically installed on a pool pump. This is a dual stage filtration system where incoming water enters the MultiCyclone and generates a strong centrifugal effect. Approximately 80 percent of the incoming dirt load is spiraled down to a clear sediment chamber. Next, the outgoing water is finally filtered via an inbuilt cartridge filter and produces crystal clear water.
The MultiCyclone 16 Ultra is the ideal choice for mid sized swimming pools up to 35,400 gallons. It has an ultra compact design and can be installed vertically which reduces the footprint of the equipment pad. Also, minimal piping reduces the filtration system’s overall head loss. And it can be installed next to the pump by using an optional support base (sold separately).
