The Pediatric Spineboard features a concave design for perfect child patient centering and less deflection and movement. The board is foam filled for flotation and patient insulation. Since it is very difficult to properly fasten a child to a 6 foot adult spineboard, this pediatric board is extremely important when transporting children.
