This is a 50 pound bag of pH Minus, a pH decreaser, which will slowly decrease the pH levels in your swimming pool water. This sodium bisulfate product is in granular form. A pool’s pH levels should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.6. When pH levels exceed that amount, the water can become cloudy and corrosive which causes a build up of scale.
Active Ingredient of the pH Minus: 100% Sodium Bisulfate (Technical Grade).
Directions for Adding pH Decreaser to Your Swimming Pool:
Add this product directly to the pool water. Always apply with the circulation system operating. Brush any unsettled particles from the surface. If pH is between 7.7 and 8.0, add 1 pound per 15,000 gallons of water directly to the pool. If pH is greater than 8.0, apply a 2 pounds for every 15,000 gallons of water. Circulate for 2 hours and retest pH. If pH is above 7.6, apply 1 pound per every 15,000 gallons again. Circulate for 2 hours and retest pH.
Never mix different products together in the same bottled or pail. Pool use may resume 15 minutes after the product has fully dissolved in the pool.
