The Pro Series S166T holds 100 pounds of sand. It has a durable, corrosion-proof filter tank for long-lasting, all weather performance. The Pro Series filters feature a large pressure sand/water drain for rapid winterizing or servicing. They are equipped with precision-engineered umbrella-fold, self-cleaning laterals. The S166T model has a filtration area of 1.40 square feet and flow rate of 30 GPM.
On top of the filter sits a 7-position Vari-Flo valve. The Vari-Flo features an easy-to-use lever handle that allows you to dial up the seven functions. The functions are Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Recirculation, Close, and Winter. Plus it has an integral sight glass that allows you to see when the backwashing cycle is complete.
