Rocky’s 5AAT1 Portable Solar Reel System is designed for residential inground pools up to 20 feet in width. The 5A reels are the largest and most robust of the Rocky Eazy Rollers. This is a complete system that will hold up to 65 feet of solar cover with a maximum of 12 mil thick. The AT-1 tube adjusts from 15 feet to 21 feet and is 3 inches in diameter. The portable design allows you move the reel easily and move it out of the way. Simply release the anchor bolts. It’s as simple as that.
The Rocky 5AAT1 Solar Reel Systems handle thicker and heavier solar covers. They are constructed of strong die cast aluminum with a baked enamel finish. Industrial grade hardware is used during construction. The 5AAT1 portable units have a longer handle and larger locking castors measuring 4 inches. This allows for easy mobility. Strap kits are included.
Rocky’s unique 12-sided adjustable tubing (AT-1) provides extra rigidity for pool owners that want to make sure their reel system never sags. The tubing is constructed of extruded aluminum with a clear anodized satin finish. It is lightweight yet extremely strong. Ground clearance to the underside of this tubing is approximately 11 inches. Both the reel and tubing are not affected by sunlight or freezing cold.
