This is a Hayward Electrical Sanitizer Back-Up Junction Box, Prewired, 120 Volts. The Junction Box will eliminate the need to steal power from the CAT Power Input Terminal. This 120 Volts Pre-wired J-Box provides a simple and safe alternative to creating a powered relay source from the Auxiliary Dry Contacts of the CAT 4000 and CAT 5000.br>
The J-Box plugs directly into a 120 Volt outlet, provides a wire 2 lead 24 Volt low voltage cable to be wired into the NO and COM Terminals of the Auxiliary Relays, and lastly provides a female pigtail out of the J-Box to deliver 120 Volts to your accessory.
This solution provides a very inexpensive way to complete a fairly expensive job if completed by a licensed electrician while staying compliant.
