This is an SR Smith Lift-Operator Four-Button Control Box Upgrade Kit for SR Smith older model pool lifts with the two-button Linak operating system. If you have one of the S.R. Smith lifts (PAL, Splash, or aXs) manufactured before 2012, the original operating system will be the Linak battery system. The Linak system has been discontinued and only a few replacement items are available. You can upgrade your lift to the Lift-Operator Intelligent Control System with this kit.
The Lift-Operator Intelligent Control System features an Emergency Stop Button that sounds an alarm and can stop the pool lift. It has a service notification light which meets ADA guidelines for scheduled maintenance. Another feature is a USB port that transfers usage data to a USB memory stick which you can review on a PC.
The Kit comes with a mounting plate, lock, battery, charger, and the Lift-Operator Intelligent Control Unit. It does not include the hand control. Your old hand controller will work with the new unit. If you would like, you can order an updated hand controller (part number 1001600).
