The 6 inch SuperGrip Perpendicular Grating by Neptune Benson has a unique, non-slip comfortable surface contour with an advanced finish. The grating is made of the highest quality, outdoor grade PVC for strength and flexibility. It is UV-stabilized and has been tested for UV stability and color fastness in accordance with ASTM G-154 (exceeding 750 hours). The system complies with ASTM load and deflection requirements (ASTM E-661).
Resistant to pool chemicals, the SuperGrip grates are easily removable for maintenance. The system is completely modular and easily handles curves and free-form shapes. These grates are designed to capture and disperse water surge in a matter of inches. The SuperGrip Perpendicular grates deflect water two ways, ensuring decks are safer (wet or dry) with rigid non-slip comfort underfoot. Water is never locked within the pattern and, therefore, mitigates algae growth. Neptune Benson offers three designs of perpendicular size grating: a small T bar for deck drains up to 6 inches wide, a larger T bar for widths 8 to 12 inches, and an I bar for drains 14 to 20 inches wide.
