This is a Taylor Midget Comparator Chlorine (DPD Low-Range) Test Kit. The K-9047 Kit tests for Free and Total Chlorine using the midget comparator and DPD chemistry.
Midget comparators give the most accurate colorimetric readings available short of high-end electronic instrumentation. Cases are custom-molded plastic. The chlorine level should stay between 1.0 and 3.0 parts per million (ppm) to maintain a healthy pool.
