The Zoll AED Plus defibrillator features “Real CPR Help,” a CPR feedback tool that can actually see what you are doing and provide feedback to help you do it well. Audio and visual prompts help you rescue with confidence and clarity unmatched by any other AED. These prompts complement the American Heart Association’s Chain of Survival.
When a cardiac arrest occurs, the fact is that only half of the victims will need a shock. But nearly all will require cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Real CPR Help guides you in delivering high-quality CPR. Integrated, real-time feedback provides visual and audio prompts to “Push Harder” or confirms when you are doing “Good Compressions,” keeping you on track to administer potentially life-saving CPR. In addition to step-by-step audio prompts, Real CPR Help technology includes a compression depth indicator that provides real-time visual guidance to help you deliver the best possible CPR.
When you need to use your AED, it needs to be ready. The AED Plus defibrillator can withstand numerous environmental conditions. It has an automatic self-test capability so you can be sure it is ready when you need it. And with an industry-leading five-year shelf life for the included batteries and pads, you will have fewer replacements, less maintenance, and a low total cost of ownership.
The Zoll AED Plus with Real CPR Help includes the AED Plus, CPR-D-padz, and ten CR123A batteries, all inside a plastic carry case. Zoll AEDs use consumer lithium camera batteries available from retail stores. The CPR-D-padz include rescue essentials including a barrier mask, a razor, scissors, disposable gloves, and a towelette. It also includes a soft black carry case which comes in handly when you need to travel with the AED.
For children up to eight years and weighting less than 55 lbs., use the Zoll Pedi-padz II (sold separately).
